Learners will explore how to define objectives, tailor messages to specific audiences, structure content logically, and maintain appropriate tone across emails, reports, memos, and digital platforms. With a focus on practical exercises and real-world examples, participants will develop the confidence and skills to communicate clearly, professionally, and strategically in any workplace scenario.

Course Highlights

  • Strengthen written communication clarity by applying the ABCD Framework to define the intended Audience, expected Behaviour, conditions for Communication, and the degree of Detail or success required.
  • Produce professional and purposeful written messages using the WRITE Framework to plan and structure communication based on Who the message is for, the Reason for writing, the Information required, the Tone to apply, and the desired End or action.
  • Plan and organise written communication effectively through the PASTA Framework, ensuring every message has a clear Purpose, considers Audience needs, follows a logical Structure, adopts the right Tone, and includes Action-oriented conclusions.
  • Align workplace communication with standards and expectations using the ACE Framework to ensure all written messages account for audience needs, situational context, and professional execution.

Entry Requirements:

  • Aged 21 and above
  • Have basic computer literacy Level 2
  • Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience; and
  • Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following – GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59
